Ferenczi, Sandor (Fraenkel, Sandor)
(1873-1933)
   Hungarian psychiatrist. He met Sigmund Freud in 1908 and went with him to the US the next year. In 1913 he founded the Hungarian Psychoanalytic Society. He was the first to stress the importance of loving, physical contact with the mother.
